Who is this course for? 

This is mandatory training for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with a current caseload. It is a professional development activity for orthotists.

What content does the course cover?  

This training session is facilitated by specialist seating consultants and provides you with the knowledge and skills to complete an assessment for seating and postural supports.
This includes opportunities to further develop clinical reasoning and prescription skills through a hands-on workshop assisted by volunteers who have physical disabilities.

Does the course have prerequisites or specific requirements? 

The following must be completed before attending:

  • Seating and Positioning – online

Note: You must also have a current caseload to attend.
