What content does the course cover?
This session is delivered by Royal Life Saving and includes:
Aquatic Rescue for Hydrotherapy is recognised designed for physiotherapy students and the rehabilitation industry. This course shows students how to identify potential accidents and prevent them from occurring, while also developing the skills and knowledge needed to respond to emergencies without hesitation and to provide the appropriate emergency care. The course will also cover
- Spinals
- Oxygen
- CPR (see below note re prerequisites)
Does the course have prerequisites or specific requirements?
The course includes your annual CPR Refresher so it is mandatory that you already hold a current First Aid certificate. If you are due to complete the full First Aid course again soon, please contact Training Alliance to discuss doing the full First Aid training on the same day as this Hydro Rescue training.

Please bring swimmers and towel.
