Who is this course for?
This course is for managers who lead a team. Please note, Disability Support Managers and Lifestyles Program Coordinators are not required to attend this course as we have adopted a different process to best support and develop our Disability Support Practitioner cohort.
If this course is relevant to your role, but not mandatory, please discuss with and get approval from your manager.
What content does the course cover?
This training session aims to support managers in creating a high performing, engaged team. The areas of focus are:
- Planning: Setting individual performance and development SMART goals that are aligned to the Department Plan
- Developing: Establishing development areas and a career path
- Reviewing: Facilitating performance reviews that are effective and motivating for your team members
- Workday Talent demonstration to support the performance planning process

The following course is recommended before attending:
- Manager orientation
