Who is this course for?
This is an orientation training designed for Disability Support Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals who are new to supporting clients with a urinary catheter.
What content does the course cover?
In this training session you will learn how to support clients with a urinary catheter and how to respond to incidents and emergencies.
This includes:
- Understanding what a catheter is
- Your roles and responsibilities
- How to safely support a client with catheter care
- Risks and Troubleshooting
- Preventing a urinary tract infection
- Responding to incidents and emergencies

The following must be completed before attending:
