What content does the course cover?
In this training session you will learn how to prescribe minor home modifications.
This includes:
- The roles of the OT and builder.
- Application of Australian Standards (AS1428) where relevant.
- OT assessment process
- Use of OT Draw
- Case study discussion
- Frequently prescribed minor home modifications including:
- Grab rails
- Handrails
- Taps
- Wedge, threshold, and step ramps
- Handheld shower hoses
- Doorways
- Documentation and Evaluation
Note: Registration closes 1 week before the session.
Does the course have prerequisites or specific requirements?
Please bring one client case study that involves a need around minor environmental modifications.
