This is mandatory training for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Exercise Physiologists.

What content does the course cover?
This training session is an extension of the WHS Practical Workshop for Allied Health Therapists and Assistants and includes:
- Manual handling assessment including risk assessment
- Developing client transfer procedures and plans
- Keeping informed about new manual handling equipment available for prescription
- Communicating with clients and families about complex manual handling issues.
Note:
- This training has physical demands. Discuss any pre-existing injuries with your manager and facilitator before attending
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
