What content does the program cover?
This online course provides learners with the knowledge about health, the interrelationship between health and disability and their role in promoting the health of clients. The learning in the course includes:
- defining and describing health
- listing factors that determine health
- understanding the interrelationship between health, disability and chronic disease
- identifying common factors that affect the health of people with disability
- understanding the importance of health promotion
- recognising the role disability support practitioners play in meeting core health needs of people with disability.
Course completion requires:
- Compulsory quizzes are included throughout the course
What is the cost?
For individuals: the cost is $38.50 including GST.

For groups: this course is available for purchase by licence agreement. This is a cost effective method of delivering training, with the option to cluster a number of courses to meet your orientation, induction and refresher learning needs.
