Who is this course suitable for?

This course is available for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Managers (who manage DSPs and DSWs), Workday Change Champions and members of People and Culture (P&C).

Why choose this course?

This course introduces managers (who manage DSP s and DSWs) to Absence management in Workday. The virtual event will focus on Time off and Leave of Absence (LOA) and provide participants with an overview of what’s changing, learn how to navigate the system and access a range of different supporting resources, see a demonstration, ask questions and go into the system before it is launched.  

What content does the program cover?

This session has been designed specifically to assist managers, Change Champions, P&C to become familiar with the look and feel of Workday and how it can support them in their role.  This session includes the following:
1.    How to navigate and become familiar with the Absence functions within Workday.
2.    What’s changing? (both online and offline)
3.    How to find information and carry out Time Off and Leave of Absence actions within the system by using the on-demand resources available.
4.    View demonstrations of the time off and LOA processes. 
5.    An opportunity to access the system and have a go!

Does the program have any prerequisites?

It is recommended that attendees view the Workday Introduction to Managers.

Course completion requires:

Access to a laptop or desktop to log into the virtual session.

Duration: 2 hours virtual session
