This course is recommended for disability support practitioners who, as part of their work role, support men with urinary incontinence who use male incontinence sheaths (uridome).

What content does the program cover?

This learning activity will enhance the workers knowledge and skills to support men with urinary incontinence who use incontinence sheaths (uridomes) and includes:
•    basic anatomy and function of the male urinary system
•    monitoring health, infection prevention and control
•    support activities and workplace procedures 
•    practical demonstration in the application of incontinence sheaths (uridomes)

Course completion requires:       

Participants will be asked to actively participate in face to face training session activities including practical demonstration in the application and removal of a male incontinence sheaths (uridomes) in a simulated workplace environment.
