  • signs of anaphylaxis and how to recognise them
  • first aid treatment and use of auto injector
  • common causes and prevention of anaphylaxis
  • long term management strategies

Does the course have any prerequisites?

To enrol in this course you must have successfully completed the following:

  • a current First Aid Certificate
  • a current annual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Assist with Medication - Online course
  • Practical Skills Workshop for Disability Support Practitioners
  • Annual workplace practical  assessment in medication
