Why choose this course?

The annual Therapy Services Conference is designed to provide allied health clinicians, teachers and the health team, with an opportunity to receive evidence based information that is relevant to clients, the disability sector and interventions/services provided by Cerebral Palsy Alliance. This year’s theme will be Achieve. Support. Deliver. The conference will cover a broad range of topics, including discipline specific and information that is relevant to all staff. Many of the presentations and workshops will be relevant to working with people with Autism.   It will also provide an opportunity to network with peers.
The Therapy Services Conference is an essential learning activity for all therapy services clinicians working at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

What content does the program cover?

• Presentations from invited guests (people living with disability and/or people with specialist backgrounds in working with people with disability)
• Presentation designed to raise awareness of stress management and looking after yourself
• Updates on research relevant to our practice
• Discipline specific and transdisciplinary workshops

How will my course work be assessed?

There is no formal assessment as part of this activity however all participants are required to participate and implement new learning in their clinical practice.

Time:        8:30am to 5pm
Please BYO lunch.  Morning tea, afternoon tea and post conference drinks/nibbles are provided.
An additional presentation will run after drinks/nibbles from 5:30-7pm titled Supporting people with disability in low and middle income countries
