Therapy Services Conference - Part 2

Why choose this course?

The annual Therapy Services conference is designed to provide allied health clinicians and related staff with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in areas of practice relevant to clients, the disability sector and the interventions and services provided by Cerebral Palsy Alliance.  It is an opportunity to learn about developments in best practice and to hear from colleagues as they share their experiences. The conference will cover a broad range of topics delivered as presentations and workshops.  The conference is a great way of connecting with colleagues from across Therapy Services, CPA and our external partners.
The Therapy Services conference is a recommended learning activity for all Therapy Services allied health clinicians working at Cerebral Palsy Alliance. It is an optional learning activity for ECEI staff, support staff and managers. 

What content does the program cover?

•    Presentations from invited guests – open to THERAPY SERVICES & ECEI STAFF  11.00am - 12.30pm

      lunch 12.30pm - 1.30pm
•    Elective workshops across a range of topics – open to CLINICIANS ONLY  1.30pm - 3.00pm

**CLINICIANS - Elective Workshops**:
Please review detailed Conference Program on this page. Select one afternoon workshop session you wish to attend and register using the links below.  You can register for one workshop only. The Balance Assessment Management workshop will be held at Prairiewood. All other workshops will be held at Allambie.
Due to COVID restrictions, registrations for each workshop will be capped and staff will not be able to swap workshops on the day of the conference. If you change your mind regarding your workshop selection, please contact Training Alliance directly who will advise if your preferred workshop is available and reallocate your selection.

How will my course work be assessed?

There is no formal assessment as part of this activity however all participants are required to participate and implement new learning in their clinical practice.

What is the cost?

There is no cost for this course.

How long is the course?

Duration:   half day  Prompt start at 11.00am sharp

Where:  Dependent upon workshop selection - please make note of the workshop you select and its location.  This is the room you will be in for the whole program

  • If you are only attending section 1 (presentations) you will attend virtually and Zoom link will be sent two days prior.

Refreshments:  Morning tea/afternoon tea/lunch provided
