Why choose this course?

The annual CPA Therapy Services Conference is designed to provide allied health clinicians and related staff with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in areas of practice relevant to clients, the disability sector and the interventions and services provided by Cerebral Palsy Alliance.  It is an opportunity to learn about developments in best practice and to hear from colleagues as they share their experiences. The conference will cover a broad range of topics delivered as presentations and workshops.  The conference is a great way of connecting with colleagues from across Therapy Services, CPA and our external partners.
The Therapy Services conference is an essential learning activity for all Therapy Services allied health clinicians working at Cerebral Palsy Alliance. It is an optional learning activity for support staff and managers. 

What content does the program cover?

•    Presentations from invited guests (e.g. people living with disability and/or people with specialist backgrounds in working with people with disability)
•    Research updates
•    Elective workshops across a range of topics

What can you expect from Part 1?
•    11-12:30 – presentation from SCH muscular dystrophy team
•    12:30-1:30 – lunch provided at your site, connecting with your local colleagues
•    1:30-3:00 – research and practice updates

How will my course work be assessed?

There is no formal assessment as part of this activity however all participants are required to participate and implement new learning in their clinical practice.
