This learning activity is for new graduate occupational therapists and physiotherapists and final year University Students.

What content does the program cover?

This course aims to provide participants with an overview of approaches to seating and postural assessment including learning about key anatomical areas for seating and specific terms to describe postural asymmetry.  They will learn the components of assessment and how this leads into prescription of postural supports. This includes a hands-on workshop and is facilitated by specialist seating consultants.

Does the course have any prerequisites?

Pre-reading will be provided to participants. Please complete all pre-reading prior to attending training.

Please wear comfortable clothing (preferably shorts or pants) and closed-toe shoes as you may be required to enter a workshop.
