What content does the program cover?

This half day course on Document Management equips people to:

  • Access the Office 365 portal

  • Use Office 365 to open, edit and share office documents and collaboratively edit documents

  • Use OneDrive for Business to store and share files 

  • Use Skype for Business for Instant Messaging, File Sharing, Video and Voice calls and Video Conferencing

  • Use the Conferencing Cameras for Skype for Business

  • Independently find online help for Office 365

  • Overview of Office 365, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business
  • Access to the Office 365 portal
  • How to use Word Online, Excel Online and PowerPoint Online

  • How to use the OneDrive for Business Sync Client
  • How to use Skype for Business for Instant Messaging, File Sharing, Video Calls and Screen sharing

Does the program have any prerequisites?

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2013.

The assessment for this learning activity is contained within activities /tasks during the session.

How long is the course?

Duration: Half a day

Time:

Morning session: 9:30am to 12:30pm.

Afternoon session: 1.30pm to 4:30pm.
